Mere Christianity
After having just skimmed it and having my mind totally blown again, I must recommend this book in the highest regards to anyone who knows Christ, knows about Christ, or has heard of Christ. You will not regret it.

Art Gallery
I’ve got a new and improved art gallery page on the right side of the screen. There are more paintings up than before and a few are even for sale. So check it on out.
Sin and Correction
I just started reading C.S. Lewis’ “Made For Heaven“. Here’s a quote that stuck out and I want to talk about for a little bit. Here he’s talking about people on the right road to heaven and wrong roads to heaven.
“I do not think that all who choose wrong roads perish; but their rescue consists in being put back on the right road. A sum (math problem) can be put right but only by going back till you find the error and working it afresh from that point, never by simply going on. Evil can be undone, but it cannot ‘develop’ into good. Time does not heal it. The spell must be unwound, bit by bit, ‘with backward mutters of dissevering power’–or else not.”
We here all the time, “just ask for forgiveness and move on.” I’m sorry to say that it’s not that simple. That is, not if we hope to rid ourselves of that particular habitual sin. By doing this we let our guard down to the next wave coming up which is sure to knock us off our feet. Instead we should be examining, carefully, so as not to fall back in, the circumstances surrounding that sin. We must make provisions while we’re in our right mind to help keep us from sin when we are not. We must know our weak points and set up guards before they are under direct fire.
Dealing with sin is a nasty business that involves intentional and sometimes painful steps.
