Good deals.
I’ve enjoyed being taught by upperclassmen all the places one can go to get good deals on things. Just 2 minutes away from campus is a discount grocery store. I went there today and got a big box of rice, 4 soyjoy bars, and some drinks for barely 4 dollars. It’s pretty cool.

This is the first post of this sort in a while.
I love living in a dorm. Living so close to so many guys develops friendships very quickly. On many occasions I’ve been in my next door neighbor’s room talking to him about things when he will ask me one of the most cutting questions I’ve ever faced.
“Have you prayed about it?”
More often than not my answer goes something like this.
“Um…no…I haven’t…I’ve been forgetting to. But I will.”
Despite my often pathetic answer, I find I constantly need to ask myself, “have I prayed about it?” I can’t tell you how much I’m beginning to see my life change by frequently bringing situations before God and asking that He would give me His mind in the matter as well as the strength to carry it out.
Let me tell you something, prayer works. You will not be disappointed when you seek the heart of God and find your own supplanted by His.
