Make Something Everyday 7/18

Posted in Make Something Everyday by Dave Ferrier on July 19, 2011

I know, I know, I know.  I told you I was bad with resolutions from the beginning.

I’ve posted a lot of pottery that I’ve made.  But that’s a bit misleading.  See, what I’ve been showing you is pottery that is fresh off the wheel.  It’s not really anywhere near completed.  At that point it needs to be dried for a bit, trimmed, dried more, fired, glazed, and then fired again before it’s done.

So what I’ve chosen to post about today is not necessarily something new that I’ve made, but further work to complete the things I’ve already started.  Today, I glazed some pots.  They’re sitting on the left.  I glazed 5 mugs (ran out of glaze to do the 6th, ordered more), 2 teacups, and a small vase.

Now, please, go make something.

Why don’t you put a link to your etsy shop in each post that will end up on that shop?
